Gauff beats Bejlek 6-4 6-1 to reach Cincinnati final
Coco Gauff needed only two sets to end Sara Bejlek's run in the Cincinnati semifinals, taking the opener 6-4 before pulling clear for a 6-1 second set. The American's serve gave her the platform: 63.4% of first serves landed and she won 76.9% of those points, adding two aces against just two double faults. Bejlek, by contrast, could not find safety behind her own delivery, winning only 45.7% of first-serve points and 40.9% behind the second, with no aces to relieve the pressure. The result carried Gauff into the final at this WTA 1000.
