Andreeva routs Oliynykova 6-1 6-0 in Cincinnati opener
Mirra Andreeva needed barely an hour's worth of resistance to sweep past Oleksandra Oliynykova 6-1, 6-0 in the Cincinnati round of 64, dropping just one game across the two sets. The difference sat squarely on the return: Oliynykova landed 65.9 percent of her first serves but won only 34.5 percent of those points, and just 33.3 percent behind her second, with no aces to bail her out. Andreeva, by contrast, struck three aces and won 71.8 percent of her first-serve points, enough cushion to absorb six double faults. It was a clean, low-cost start to her tournament.
