Michael Zheng ousts Ugo Humbert in straight sets in Cincinnati
Michael Zheng produced a controlled straight-sets win over Ugo Humbert, 6-4 6-3, in the Cincinnati round of 64. The American was the steadier server throughout, landing 59.6% of his first deliveries and winning 76.5% of those points, while also holding firm behind the second ball at 56.5%. Humbert never found the same platform: only 51.6% of his first serves found the box, he won just 59.4% of those points, and eight double faults kept handing back initiative. Zheng struck four aces to the Frenchman's three and dropped serve rarely enough to close it out inside two sets, a statement result at Masters 1000 level.
