Tabilo Downs Struff in Straight Sets in Cincinnati
Alejandro Tabilo produced a controlled straight-sets win over Jan-Lennard Struff, 6-3 6-4, in the Cincinnati round of 64. The Chilean's serve was the difference: he landed 66.1% of his first deliveries and won 81.1% of those points, while conceding just one double fault. Struff, by contrast, found only 52.5% of his first serves and could win just 62.5% of the points behind them, leaving him exposed far too often. Both men struck five aces, but the German's 58.6% return on second serves never gave him a platform. It was a clean, efficient result that carried Tabilo into the next round.
