Baez recovers from a set down to beat Dimitrov in Cincinnati
Sebastian Baez turned a lopsided opening set into a comeback win over Grigor Dimitrov, 1-6 6-3 6-4 in the Cincinnati first round. Swept aside 6-1 at the start, the Argentine steadied himself behind a reliable delivery, landing 62.3% of his first serves and winning 66.7% of those points while conceding only two double faults. The difference came on the second ball: Baez took 65.5% of his second-serve points, Dimitrov just 48.5%, and the Bulgarian's seven double faults and 56.6% first-serve rate undercut the 81.4% he won behind his first. A valuable Masters 1000 win for Baez on hard courts.
