Kecmanovic beats Ugo Carabelli 6-3 6-3 in Cincinnati opener
Miomir Kecmanovic needed just two sets to move past Camilo Ugo Carabelli 6-3 6-3 in the Round of 128 in Cincinnati, controlling both sets with the same margin. The Serbian's first delivery landed only 48.3 percent of the time, but it did heavy damage when it did, winning 75.9 percent of those points, and his second serve held up too at 58.1 percent. Ugo Carabelli, by contrast, won just 58.8 percent behind his first ball and 43.3 percent behind his second, and his six double faults to Kecmanovic's three underlined the difference. It was a clean, efficient start to the Argentine-free half of Kecmanovic's draw week.
