Norrie recovers from a set down to beat Prizmic in Cincinnati
Cameron Norrie dropped the opening set 3-6 but turned the match around completely, running away with the second 6-1 and holding on for a 6-4 decider against Dino Prizmic in the Cincinnati first round. The serve numbers explained the swing: Norrie landed 59.3% of his first deliveries to Prizmic's 52.3%, and once rallies began he was steadier, winning 57.6% behind the second serve to the Croatian's 54.8%. Prizmic's 11 aces, against three for Norrie, brought free points but four double faults undercut them. The Briton's reward was a place in the second round.
