Trungelliti rallies past Nishikori to reach Cincinnati main draw
Marco Trungelliti came from a set down to beat Kei Nishikori 4-6 7-5 6-3 in the final round of qualifying at the Cincinnati Masters 1000. The Argentine's edge came on first serve, where he landed 59.8 percent and won 65.6 percent of those points, against 57.4 percent and 58.6 percent for Nishikori. Both men were untidy, each striking six double faults, and Trungelliti's 37.2 percent behind the second delivery kept the middle set close until he snatched it 7-5. With three aces to Nishikori's four, the win carried Trungelliti into the main draw.
