Jacquet routs Harris 6-2 6-1 in Cincinnati qualifying

Kyrian Jacquet needed barely an hour's worth of resistance to sweep past Billy Harris 6-2 6-1 in the qualifying semifinals at the Cincinnati Masters 1000. The Frenchman's serve was erratic on paper, with just 45.5 percent of first deliveries landing and seven double faults, yet he won 68 percent of first-serve points and a healthy 56.7 percent behind the second, which kept the pressure entirely on the other end. Harris found the court more often, at 54.8 percent, but won only 39.1 percent of those points and 47.4 percent on his second serve. Jacquet moved to within one win of the main draw.
